I have been astonished at the reception my story is receiving, the joy at watching my characters come to life and explore the world is limitless. Currently I am working on the next installment, it will be finished hopefully in the next 30 days.
My understanding all the media and publishing world is still in its newborn stage. It was a little over whelming combined with my real life and job while still finding the time to edit and write, so it took a backseat, hopefully in the future I can keep up.
Looking at my first sales report I felt the need from days of long ago to frame my first dollar, however time has marched on and my first dollar is in the digital world. It is not as impressive as a dollar or a first check. The sales report is in Excel and lacks something to hang on a wall. Maybe a Scrape Booker could do something to pretty it up, only I am not one of those. I will think of something to make it a worthwhile Mile Stone for my wall. Till then I will try to keep you updated in a timely manner. Please feel free to check out my book.

The Breakfast Club Reunited After 30 Years
By Darby Lee Dominique
Well, I certainly have spent most of my adult life watching these juvenile delinquents grow up. It seems like I have been personally involved with the lives and loves of the Brat pack and yet of course I am just a fan of their work, which started with this one movie.
When this movie was release most 20 something or younger had spent time in some detention room with students that under normal circumstance you would never spend time with. Without anything better to do you eventually would talk and share things with these people. This could never happen with teenagers today because of technology, the students would just spend time on their phones. I believe some of the human condition may eventually be lost due to lack of personal face-to-face interaction.
I have a ton of memories from my high school days and I always relieve them when I watch The Breakfast Club. In the movie of my life I always prefer to experience things on more than one level whenever possible, The Breakfast Club is one of those multi-experiencers. Kudos go out to the ladies as well they look really great for their ages, the guys too, but men always age better.
Hope I am around for the next big reunion.

Black Hole Discovered
Wow in our own galaxy, it is like the beginning of a science fiction novel, or star trek episode. Every thing that I have watched and considered to be true through out my life has always included science and space in one fashion or another. I watch things with the concepts that even fictional stories hold elements of truth. Take for instance relating to this “Event Horizon” and a recent movie “Interstellar” both having a black hole as a featured player where time moves differently as the gravitational pull gets stronger the closer you are to the black hole. Which of course lets us as a human race play with the forth dimension “Time” at least in the movies?
What I find fascinating is that in the video they allude to light traveling and a time difference as a journey back to the beginning of the universe, we of course have nothing that could survive the crushing gravity of a black hole. We then are left with only a dream of some distant future where we could send a probe instead we remotely probe it by take pictures from a distance with high powered telescopes, but the possibilities of it certainly strikes my imagination.

I am not old enough to have experienced this little piece of nostalgia during its hay day in the 1950’s but I did eat there a lot during my youth. I of course refer to Merles Drive-in where you could get the best fries and a lot of them as well. I used to order some fries and a strawberry shake. The shakes were made with real strawberries and vanilla ice-cream in one of those steal cups when they poured your shake into a glass they left the steal cup with the rest in it to finish off. It was the best, lots of salt and ketchup on the fries and strawberry shake it was nirvana. Merles has been gone for a number of years now, in case you don,t know it was located in Visalia Calif. I passed through a number of years back and noticed it was no longer there but I will always have fond memories.
I love finding different things.

just made me smile,
I want you to know I have made no resolutions other than to make this blog for the year.
The thing is I don’t know what I am doing but some of you are paying attention. Now the question is with power does great responsibility come, oh wait wrong comic, is the pen mightier than the sword, and does it count if I don’t really use a pen. Never mind Just enjoy the comic strip.
This is one of my favorite comic strips I wanted to share as well as let you know I have linked him from my site. He gives his permission so long as he gets credit for his work. I am in no way taking credit just sharing my love of humor, sarcasm, math, and any thing that can combine them. So enjoy!
Considering the age for a digital native to enter this world was long after I did, I certainly have a understanding of how things work, with that said I have reviewed an older post that still holds true. Considering I took my site down and restarted so I thought I would repost it just for a slight chuckle.
This was a few weeks ago, when frustration was high.
I have been trying to become a digital native in my quest for a digital foot print in what will be a future run by nano bots. My conclusion is that I may be going native but it has more to do with hairy legs from lack of sleep, I believe my outside has had more of a makeover than my inside from previously stated lack of sleep and pure frustration.I think my face is going to be permanently scared into a perplexed expression.
I was waiting for inspiration to restart my blog, when suddenly I was struck with life. Sometimes in this world we spend a considerable amount of time discussing or complaining about what is wrong or needs to be fixed. I have at times fallen susceptible to just such a case, of the glass is half empty syndrome, today I was reminded to look around at the good things in life.
I decided to remind myself of the wonderful things in my life, so I looked around in my own house to start with at my beautiful healthy family. I realize that we may not have reached some goal set by ourselves or someone else but that we are all healthy, happy, self sufficient and still on a journey towards the next stage of life, depending on which member you are talking about from child toward retirement.
Then I decided to look at the world and I know we have a lot of things that need fixing or repair but lets look at some of the wonders in this big beautiful world that we have. We can start at the epic level with the 7 Natural Wonders where one can only marvel at natures ability to produce something that is for example, the northern lights, a scientific wonder and a beautiful experience to behold. The largest waterfall in the world Victoria Falls which is 1 mile wide and 360 feet tall will make any one feel small. The Seven Natural Wonders
When considering the wonder of the world we of course went for the epic but some of the wonders are very small, such as the hourglass tree frog, native to parts of Central and South America, is just under 1.5 inches when full grown. This species is one of many itty-bitty frogs, the smallest of which is just one-third of an inch long. (PHOTOGRAPH BY JOEL SARTORE, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC) Some of these little wonders you have to see to appreciate so I have hunted up some of the picture of things I remember have made me just shake my head and just be inspire red and awed with our world, another tiny animal I remember was discovered in 2012, the Brookesia Micro Chameleon is among the smallest reptiles in the world. Here a juvenile perches on the head of a matchstick; adults grow to just over one inch.(PHOTOGRAPH BY JOERN KÖHLER, CORBIS)
